Iceland is for us Europeans like an offroad-nirvana. It is almost the only place left in Europe where you can drive on dirt tracks and gravel roads for more than just a few kilometres. One picture shows our campsite near the Eyjafjalla volcano, which caused problems with air trafic all over the northern part of the world in spring 2010. We went in a convoy of five cars - four Mercedes Benz and one Toyota.
