Around Australia with a Taiga Trailer Tent|
Our plans changed a bit. We are now on our way around Australia. Our stops so far have been Kalbarri, Carnarvon, Yarraloola Roadside Stop, Point Samson and we are now at the Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park. We next go to Broome then a number of overnighters and station stays taking in the Wolf Creek Meteorite Crater and Purnululu (Bungle Bungles) before heading to Kununurra and Lake Argyle. Then it's on through NT and QLD as far north as Port Douglas before heading south down the east and south coasts - catching up with friends as we go. We will stick to the coast as much as possible and, if all goes well, we will be back in Perth by mid-December. Up to and including this trip we have trailed the Taiga about 12,000 km so far. We find it so easy to manage. And because the total weight of tent and trailer is less than 400 kg, the whole process of packing up, driving, setting up is totally stress free. Most caravans take longer to park (always fun to watch!) and attach water hoses and power cords than we take to be completely set up.
