All new products purchased directly from Gordigear are covered by a 24 months warranty, which covers all parts and labour. Some products come with a longer warranty period; see specifications of a particular product for details. If your product develops a fault due to normal use we will repair the item with replacement parts as required. For defects that can be fixed by the layman, we may elect at our discretion to just provide the parts. Approval to return an item under warranty must be granted before an item is returned. We may require the claimant to email photos depicting the fault for claim assessment. Claims for labour cost incurred by the claimant for removal, refit or installation will not be entered into. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty does not cover damage caused by neglect, modification, misuse or wrongful installation of the product. Cosmetical defects and wear and tear are also excluded from warranty. At our discretion we may elect that instead of repairing the product or providing replacement parts, to either replace the original product with one of the same or a similar type or refund the sum equal to the original product purchase price (excluding the cost of postage and handling). All goods returned to Gordigear must be sent via a traceable mail or courier service.
We do not accept responsibility for secondary damages relating to the failure of the product or injury to any person(s) or possessions. We will not be liable for commercial loss due to product failure. Although every effort has been made to ensure that supplied information in printed, digital and other form is correct, we must disclaim responsibility for claims based on misinformation. All our shipments are transit insured. Should your delivery arrive in a damaged condition, please do not accept the shipment, advise the courier thereof and get in contact with us immediately. Transit insurance cannot be claimed for accepted deliveries.
